Hello - I got bored with these postscript things pretty quickly. Maybe I'll just do them once in a while.

Miranda and David Michael: I'm glad you liked the Edith Wharton post. I just finished reading Age of Innocence and I was really into her descriptions of clothing and interiors. That Beinecke archive has all kinds of manuscripts, letters, etc. Any other authors you'd like to see?

It makes sense that you were into her design descriptions--she is also well-known for a book she wrote with Ogden Codman called The Decoration of Houses. If you and KR ever get up to North Adams try to go to her house, which is The Mount in Lenox! Other authors...the Woolfs/Bloomsbury group! Also, maybe the Harlem Renaissance writers--Zora Neale Hurston!
