Hello - Not much to report today, but I have a few recommendations.

Novel: "The Drop Edge of Yonder" by Rudolph Wurlitzer
Film: "Walker" - directed by Alex Cox, written by Wurlitzer
(both recommended on Dennis Cooper's blog.)
Young Adult Novel: "The Education of Robert Nifkin" by Daniel Pinkwater
Film: "Le Plaisir" directed by Max Ophuls
Film: It's been a long time since I saw "Two Lane Blacktop" but it's great. Turns out the screenplay was written by Wurlitzer.

laura.g: Weird...psychic powers...I came across these in my usual way - by searching for something totally unrelated.

Matt Cassity: Not bad at all.

Various events in various cities.
Kay Lahusen - 1971

"Kay Lahusen (b. January 5, 1930 also known as Kay Tobin) is considered the first openly gay photojournalist of the gay rights movement."

In 2007, Lahusen and her partner, Barbara Gittings, donated their papers to the NYPL.
