Hello - Had a great weekend, weatherwise and otherwise. On Saturday, Hit Factorie was invited to install the window display at Word bookstore. We hauled the photocopier over there and whipped up a Summer Reading themed HIT BOOK! I don't mind telling you, it looks great. They're having us back for a reception/artist's talk/event on Thursday July 23rd.
Sunday, Kelly and I went down to the Brooklyn Lyceum for Zine Fest. It was great and we bought some zines and a poster. Aaron Wojack had a table there for his project Surprise, and let us sell some copies of HIT BOOK! Thanks Aaron!
We were ready for a relaxing Sunday evening, but a bunch of folks were having post-Pride beers at the Metropolitan. We sat in the backyard and had a fine time...good company, cheap drinks and free cheeseburgers.
How was your weekend?
