Shaker Country

Went up to Shaker Meadows for New Years Eve.
Had a real good time with a bunch of friends.
Our trip up there last year (with a slightly different crew) sparked my interest in Shaker culture.
In particular their "Gift Drawings", but also their architecture, furniture, belief system etc.
Found some great photos by Nina Leen on the Google/Life Magazine archive.
I know I've been hitting that site a little hard lately but trust me, these are great photos.
