I recently finished reading a book by Joe LeSueur called "Digressions On Some Poems By Frank O'Hara". LeSueur and O'Hara were roommates for a long time so the book is full of very personal stories about the art and literary worlds of fifties and sixties New York. Right after I finished the book I saw this post on Dennis Cooper's blog, which includes a lot of people who appear in the book. Today's post features a whole slew of Frank O'Hara material. Here he is reading "Having a Coke With You".
A while ago I posted some anti-war fliers and an assortment of other political fliers from the Vietnam War era. I just came across a few more from the same collection that I didn't put up at the time. These are some of the oddballs that didn't fit in with the other posts.
